Business Development Manager - (US-VA-Reston)

Responsible for identification, development and management of business
pursuit opportunities in support of the Integrated C4ISR business within the
DoD and Homeland Security / Homeland Defense market areas. Provide market
pursuit planning, shaping, and mission focused market intelligence support
leading to the successful business capture campaign execution for large
complex programs. For each opportunity: prepare opportunity and market plan
for management assessment, lead and/or support proposal activities, identify
and manage to appropriate bid budgets. Develop high degree of customer
intimacy based upon knowledge of critical customer needs and requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering and business area management on IRAD
recommendations and budgets. Work continuously to grow company position in
identified markets, to identify upcoming opportunities and grow customer
intimacy. Provide operational and mission needs understanding in support of
business area pursuits.

Must have the following:
*BS Degree and 5 years experience in DoD Marketing/Business Development
*10 years business development experience with at least 3 years experience
in the application of Integrated C4ISR technologies
*Knowledge in DoD acquisition policy and procedures
*Familiarity with Net Centric Warfare & Integrated C4ISR systems
*Experience in leading proposal teams
*Experience in developing capture/marketing plans
*Experience in establishing and projecting bookings forecasts
*Experience in pro-actively managing discretionary budgets
*DoD Secret level security clearance
*US Citizenship
*Willing and able to travel domestically and/or internationally as required
to meet business or customer objectives
